Onze actie van morgen is Officieel toegelaten. Het zal plaatsvinden aan de kruising van de Kolonienstraat en De Koningstraat om 14 uur.

Notre action demain est officiellement autoris\u00e9e. Elle aura lieu \u00e0 l’intersection de la rue des colonies et la rue Royale \u00e0 14 heures.

SIT-IN TEGEN RACIAL PROFILING<\/div>\n

We hebben het de afgelopen wekensystematisch zien gebeuren: willekeurigemensen worden zonder enige verklaringhardhandig aangepakt door onzeordediensten. We zagen het gebeuren, bijde razzia\u2019s in Molenbeek, bij jongeren in Kortrijk, militanten van Movement X en zelfs een deradicaliseringsexpert die net terugkwam van een vergadering met het beleid. Vele anonieme slachtoffers gingen hen voor. Allemaal hebben ze \u00e9\u00e9n ding gemeen: etnische kenmerken.<\/div>\n
Was de politie er niet om burgers tebeschermen, in plaats van te viseren? Ze voedt wat ze wil bestrijden. Racialeprofilering verdeelt in ‘wij-zij’. Racialeprofilering versterkt de polarisering envoedt radicalisering. Etnische profilering ondermijnt het noodzakelijke vertrouwentussen burgers en bestuur.<\/div>\n

Terreuraanslagen in Borno, Damascus, Beirut, Parijs… Ja, wij, gewone burgers, veroordelen die. Doel van de terreur is immers verdeeldheid zaaien. Iedereen kanslachtoffer zijn. Alarmniveau 4 of 3? Ok, indien proportioneel met de dreiging. Maar niet om afbreuk te doen aanmensenrechten en internationaleverdragen. Niet om democratisch protest de kop in te drukken. Niet om tepolariseren en te verdelen. Wij laten ons niet verdelen!<\/div>\n

De strijd tegen terreur rechtvaardigtgeen raciale profiling.<\/div>\n

Wij willen dat dit anti-terreurbeleid het geweer van schouder verandert! Geenethnic profiling, geen militarisering. Geen verdeeldheid, geen uitsluiting.<\/div>\n

Cela se produit syst\u00e9matiquement ces derni\u00e8res semaines : des personnes al\u00e9atoires sont brutalis\u00e9es sans explication par nos forces de l’ordre. On a pu le voir lors razzias \u00e0 Molenbeek, avec des jeunes \u00e0 Courtrai, avec des militants de Movement X et m\u00eame avec un expert en d\u00e9radicalisation qui venait de participer \u00e0 une conf\u00e9rence du gouvernement. De nombreuses autres victimes anonymes les ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s. Tous partagent une chose: des caract\u00e9ristiques ethniques.<\/div>\n

La police n’est-elle pas l\u00e0 pour prot\u00e9ger les citoyens, plut\u00f4t que de les stigmatiser? Elle nourrit ce qu’elle cherche \u00e0 combattre. Le profilage racial nous divise en \u201cnous-eux\u201d. Il renforce la polarisation et alimente la radicalisation. Le profilage ethnique sape la n\u00e9cessaire confiance entre les citoyens et les autorit\u00e9s.<\/div>\n

Les attaques terroristes de Borno, Damas, Beyrouth, Paris… oui, nous, simples citoyens, nous les condamnons. L\u2019objectif du terrorisme est en effet de semer la zizanie. Tout le monde est une victime potentielle. Niveau d’alerte 3 ou 4? D’accord, si c’est proportionnel \u00e0 la menace. Mais pas si c’est un pr\u00e9texte pour porter atteinte aux droits de l’homme ou aux trait\u00e9s internationaux, pour museler la contestation d\u00e9mocratique, pour polariser et diviser. Nous ne nous laisserons pas diviser !<\/div>\n

La lutte contre le terrorisme ne justifie pas le profilage racial.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Nous voulons que la lutte antiterroriste change son fusil d’\u00e9paule! Pas de profilage ethnique, pas de militarisation. Pas de division, pas d’exclusion.<\/div>\n

The last weeks we\u2019ve witnessed it systematically: innocent people who we\u2019re stopped arbitrarly and violently by the security forces. We\u2019ve seen raids in Molenbeek, we\u2019ve seen kids arrested in Kortijk, and we\u2019ve seen this happening to militants of movement X and even to a deradicalization expert coming back from a work meeting. These actions had one thing in common: ethnical characteristics.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The security forces need to protect people instead of stigmatise them. This kind of actions is causing the trouble they aim to fight. Racial profiling divides us in \u2018we-(s)he\u2019. Racial profiling reinforces polarisation and radicalization. Ethnic profiling undermines the necessary confidence between citizens and the institutions.<\/div>\n

The terrorist attacks in Borno, Damascus, Beirut, Parijs\u2026 Yes, we, the everyday citizens condemn these acts of terror. Because they do spread hatred and division. Every one can be a victim of terror. Alert level 3 or 4? Okay when this is in proportion with the threat. But not when this affects human rights and international agreements. Not when this aims to suppress democratic protest. Not when this polarises en divides. We stay united!<\/div>\n

The fight against terror doesn\u2019t justify racial profiling.<\/div>\n

We want this anti-terrorist policy to change tack! No racial profiling, no militarization. No division, no exclusion.<\/div>\n
