L’AFFAIRE TARIQ RAMADAN: UNE AUTRE \u00ab\u00a0AFFAIRE DREYFUS\u00a0\u00bb?<\/p>\n

En d\u00e9cembre 1894, avec la mont\u00e9e de l’antis\u00e9mitisme politique en France, le capitaine, officier juif de l’arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 injustement condamn\u00e9 pour haute trahison et condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 la prison \u00e0 vie par le tribunal militaire fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n

Alors que ses rangs militaires et ses armes \u00e9taient d\u00e9pouill\u00e9s en pr\u00e9sence d’une foule antis\u00e9mite scandant \u00ab\u00a0la mort aux Juifs\u00a0\u00bb devant la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Ecole Militaire de Paris, l’Affaire Dreyfus est entr\u00e9e dans l’histoire comme le pr\u00e9curseur des crimes horribles commis contre la population juive de France sous le r\u00e9gime de Vichy pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9tendu crime dont \u00e9tait accus\u00e9 Dreyfus \u00e9tait de communiquer des secrets militaires fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 l’ambassade d’Allemagne \u00e0 Paris, et \u00e9tait bas\u00e9 sur quelques notes manuscrites trouv\u00e9es dans la corbeille \u00e0 papier de l’ambassade d’Allemagne.<\/p>\n

Peu de temps apr\u00e8s la condamnation de Dreyfus par le tribunal militaire fran\u00e7ais, de nouvelles preuves ont montr\u00e9 que l’\u00e9criture manuscrite sur les notes appartenait en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e0 un autre officier majeur de l’arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise, Ferdinand Esterhazy.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9anmoins, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de preuve ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9touff\u00e9s par certains des officiers de haut rang de l’arm\u00e9e et de la justice fran\u00e7aises, pour \u00ab\u00a0sauver l’honneur de l’arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise et la stabilit\u00e9 politique de la France\u00a0\u00bb et Dreyfus a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 une deuxi\u00e8me fois, cette fois bas\u00e9e sur des documents suppl\u00e9mentaires nouvellement fabriqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9v\u00e9lation des preuves de l’innocence de Dreyfus, et surtout apr\u00e8s la publication dans un journal parisien de la lettre ouverte historique du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre romancier fran\u00e7ais Emile Zola, s’adressant au pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, accusant les hauts fonctionnaires fran\u00e7ais de complicit\u00e9 dans la conspiration contre Dreyfus, l’opinion publique fran\u00e7aise ne pouvait plus ignorer les injustices explicites commises dans cette affaire.<\/p>\n

La d\u00e9claration de Zola attira l’attention de beaucoup d’autres intellectuels fran\u00e7ais sur l’affaire.<\/p>\n

La R\u00e9publique fran\u00e7aise \u00e9tait \u00e9branl\u00e9e et il \u00e9tait \u00e9vident que le calme et la stabilit\u00e9 de la nation ne pouvaient \u00eatre r\u00e9tablis sans que l’affaire Dreyfus f\u00fbt r\u00e9solue.<\/p>\n

C’est pourquoi en 1899 peu apr\u00e8s sa seconde condamnation par le tribunal militaire fran\u00e7ais, le pr\u00e9sident de la France se sentit oblig\u00e9 de pardonner \u00e0 Dreyfus, mais son innocence ne fut officiellement reconnue qu’en 1906 par une d\u00e9cision de la Cour supr\u00eame fran\u00e7aise, puis il fut r\u00e9int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans l\u2019arm\u00e9e avec le grade de major.<\/p>\n

L’affaire Dreyfus est rest\u00e9e l’une des plus grandes hontes de l’histoire politico-juridique de la France, par laquelle un innocent a \u00e9t\u00e9 pers\u00e9cut\u00e9 avec des motifs politiques et racistes avec la complicit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dias fran\u00e7ais et de hauts fonctionnaires fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e8s de 125 ans apr\u00e8s l’affaire Dreyfus, nous assistons en France \u00e0 un autre assassinat de caract\u00e8re avec des motives politique et raciste, qui ne vise pas cette fois-ci un officier juif, mais un autre assassinat politique \u00e0 caract\u00e8re raciste, qui ne vise pas cette fois-ci un officier juif, mais un intellectuel musulman europ\u00e9en tr\u00e8s influent, le Docteur Tariq Ramadan, d\u00e9j\u00e0 jug\u00e9 et ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 par le les m\u00e9dias fran\u00e7ais et d\u00e9sign\u00e9 comme le \u00ab\u00a0violeur musulman\u00a0\u00bb et mis en prison par la justice fran\u00e7aise, avant m\u00eame la construction de l’acte d’accusation formel contre lui par le parquet de Paris !<\/p>\n

La similitude entre les deux cas ne se limite pas aux motivations politiques et racistes qui les sous-tendent, mais inclut \u00e9galement la complicit\u00e9 de certains hauts fonctionnaires fran\u00e7ais dont le v\u00e9ritable devoir \u00e9tait de substituer la justice.<\/p>\n

Selon les informations et les rapports des groupes de d\u00e9fense des droits de l’homme, une preuve cruciale montrant que le Dr Ramadan n’\u00e9tait m\u00eame pas pr\u00e9sent dans le pr\u00e9tendu lieu de crime \u00e0 l’heure pr\u00e9sum\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9e \u00e0 la police fran\u00e7aise par les avocats de la d\u00e9fense le 6 d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n

La preuve s’est myst\u00e9rieusement perdue et n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 incluse dans le dossier du Dr Ramadan jusqu’\u00e0 sa d\u00e9tention en f\u00e9vrier.<\/p>\n

La \u00abperte\u00bb de cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment crucial de preuve attire toute l’attention sur le parquet de Paris qui est, selon la loi fran\u00e7aise, le directeur de la police judiciaire charg\u00e9e de l’enqu\u00eate sur le docteur Ramadan.<\/p>\n

Le procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Paris, M. Fran\u00e7ois Molins, qui est actuellement en charge de l’affaire du Dr Ramadan, est un magistrat qui s’occupe habituellement des affaires de \u00abterrorisme islamique\u00bb relevant de la juridiction nationale.<\/p>\n

C’est lui qui enqu\u00eatait sur les attentats terroristes majeurs en France: les assassinats perp\u00e9tr\u00e9s par Mohammed Merah en 2012, l’attentat de Charlie Hebdo, l’attentat de Nice du 14 juillet 2016, etc.<\/p>\n

Consid\u00e9rant que la premi\u00e8re plainte contre le Dr Ramadan a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9e au Parquet de Rouen et que celle-ci est la juridiction naturelle de l’affaire, la renonciation incompr\u00e9hensible de comp\u00e9tence de ce dernier \u00e0 M. Fran\u00e7ois Molins soul\u00e8ve de s\u00e9rieuses questions sur si le Dr Ramadan fait l’objet d’une enqu\u00eate \u00e0 cause d’un crime ordinaire ou simplement parce qu’il est \u00abmusulman\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Un autre indicateur de l’abus de pouvoir public dans le cas du
\nDr Ramadan est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 par la confession publique d’un c\u00e9l\u00e8bre anti-musulman fran\u00e7ais et adversaire de longue date du Dr. Ramadan, Caroline Fourest, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant qu’elle avait organis\u00e9 une r\u00e9union en 2009 entre un magistrat fran\u00e7ais de haut rang appel\u00e9 Michel Debacq qui occupe maintenant un bureau \u00e0 la Cour de Cassation de France et l’accusateur anonyme appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Christelle\u00a0\u00bb, apparemment en pr\u00e9paration d’intenter une action contre le Dr Tariq Ramadan qui suscite \u00e9galement de s\u00e9rieux doutes sur l’impartialit\u00e9 des autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises comp\u00e9tentes dans l’affaire du Ramadan.<\/p>\n

Depuis le tout d\u00e9but du processus, le droit \u00e0 la pr\u00e9somption d’innocence du Dr. Tariq Ramadan a \u00e9t\u00e9 constamment viol\u00e9 par les m\u00e9dias fran\u00e7ais, avec un ton islamophobe naus\u00e9abond dans tous les reportages couvrant son cas.<\/p>\n

Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, la justice fran\u00e7aise est devenue complice de cette violation par le processus d’enqu\u00eate indu appliqu\u00e9 au Dr Ramadan et en le pla\u00e7ant en d\u00e9tention ind\u00e9finie malgr\u00e9 la bonne volont\u00e9 et la pleine coop\u00e9ration manifest\u00e9es par lui pendant le processus d’enqu\u00eate.<\/p>\n

En outre, nous apprenons des rapports que le Dr Tariq Ramadan a \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9 dans une cellule d’isolement dans l’aile haute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la prison de Fleury-M\u00e9rogis \u00e0 Paris, sans aucune raison l\u00e9gale compr\u00e9hensible.<\/p>\n

Maintenant, l’affaire Tariq Ramadan attend son propre Emile Zolas, qui sortira de l’intelligentsia fran\u00e7aise non-musulmane et dont le devoir historique serait d’attirer l’attention sur cette injustice flagrante qui se d\u00e9roule actuellement en France.<\/p>\n

Les enseignements tir\u00e9s de l’histoire nous montrent que cette conspiration complot\u00e9e contre le Dr Tariq Ramadan avec les motivations explicitement anti-musulmanes, ne vise pas seulement la personnalit\u00e9 d’un seul musulman, mais toute la communaut\u00e9 musulmane de France et d’Europe.<\/p>\n

Et ceux qui ont choisi de ne pas parler contre l’injustice \u00e9vidente commise contre le Dr Tariq Ramadan seront jug\u00e9s par l’histoire comme les complices d’un crime beaucoup plus grand commis contre toute une communaut\u00e9 musulmane europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n

TARIQ RAMADAN CASE: THE SECOND \u201cDREYFUS AFFAIR\u201d OF FRANCE?<\/p>\n

In December 1894, on the rise of political antisemitism in France, Captain Alfred Dreyfus, a Jewish officer of the French army was unjustly convicted for high treason and sentenced to life imprisonment by the French Military Court.<\/p>\n

As his military ranks and weapons were stripped off in the presence of an antisemitic crowd chanting \u201cdeath to the Jews\u201d in front of the famous Ecole Militaire of Paris, the Dreyfus Affair passed into history as the forerunner of horrific crimes committed against the Jewish population of France under the Vichy regime during the Second World War.<\/p>\n

Dreyfus\u2019 alleged crime was communicating French military secrets to the German Embassy in Paris, and was based on some hand-written notes found in the wastebasket of the German Embassy.<\/p>\n

Soon after Dreyfus\u2019 conviction by the French military court, new evidence showed that hand-writing on the notes actually belonged to another Major Officer in the French army, named Ferdinand Esterhazy.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, this evidence were suppressed by high-ranking officers in the French Military and Justice, on account of \u201csaving the honour of the French army and the political stability of France\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dreyfus was convicted for a second time, this time based on additional newly fabricated documents.<\/p>\n

After, evidence came to light indicating Dreyfus\u2019 innocence.<\/p>\n

Especially after the publication in a Parisian newspaper of a historic open letter by famous French novelist Emile Zola, directly addressing the president of France, accusing high ranking French public officers as accomplices in the conspiracy against Dreyfus.<\/p>\n

French public opinion could no longer ignore the explicit injustices committed in this affair.<\/p>\n

Zola\u2019s declaration engaged many other French intellectuals\u2019 attention to the case.<\/p>\n

The French Republic was shaken at its cores and it was obvious that the calm and stability of the nation couldn\u2019t be restored without getting the Dreyfus affair resolved.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why in 1899 shortly after his second conviction by the French military court, the president of France felt obliged to pardon Dreyfus.<\/p>\n

Yet his innocence was officially recognized only in 1906 through a decision of the French Supreme Court and then he was reinstated in the French army with the rank of Major.<\/p>\n

The Dreyfus affair remained one of the biggest disgraces in the politico-legal history of France, by which an innocent man was persecuted with political and racist motives with complicity of the French media and high-ranking public officials of France.<\/p>\n

Nearly 125 years after the Dreyfus Affair, we are witnessing another racist and politically motivated character assassination in France, this time not targeting a Jewish military officer, but a highly influential European Muslim intellectual, Dr. Tariq Ramadan.<\/p>\n

He has already been judged and executed by the French media as a \u201crapist Muslim\u201d and put into prison by the French justice, even before the preparation of the formal bill of indictment against him by the Paris Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

The similarity between the two cases is not limited to the political and racist motivations underlying them, but also includes complicity of some high rank French public officials.<\/p>\n

According to the news and human rights groups\u2019 reports, a crucial piece of evidence demonstrated that Dr. Ramadan wasn\u2019t even present when the alleged crime took place.<\/p>\n

This was submitted to prosecutors by the defence attorneys December 6, the evidence got mysteriously \u00ab\u00a0lost\u00a0\u00bb and wasn\u2019t included in Dr. Ramadan\u2019s file until his detention in February.<\/p>\n

The \u201closs\u201d of this crucial piece of evidence draws attention to the Paris Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office which is, according to French law, the director of the Judicial Police conducting the investigation on Dr. Ramadan.<\/p>\n

Since the very beginning of the process, the right to presumption of innocence of Dr. Tariq Ramadan has been constantly violated by the French media, along with a toxic anti-Muslim tone all over the news reports covering his case.<\/p>\n

The Public Prosecutor of Paris M. Fran\u00e7ois Molins, currently in charge of Dr. Ramadan\u2019s case is a magistrate who usually deals with \u201cIslamic terrorism\u201d cases with national jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

He been responsible for investigating major terrorist attacks in France: the killings perpetrated by Mohammed Merah in 2012, the Charlie Hebdo attack, Nice attack of July 14, 2016, and so on.<\/p>\n

Considering that the first complaint against Dr. Ramadan was filed at the Rouen Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office who would have natural jurisdiction over the case, the incomprehensible waiver of jurisdiction being moved to the Paris Prosecutor’s office under M. Fran\u00e7ois Molins raises serious questions on whether Dr. Ramadan is under investigation because of an ordinary crime or just because he is a \u201cMuslim\u201d.<\/p>\n

Another indicator of abuse of public power in Dr. Ramadan\u2019s case came to light by the public confession of a well-known French anti-Muslim and long-time adversary of Dr. Ramadan, Caroline Fourest.<\/p>\n

She revealed arranginga meeting in 2009 between a high rank French magistrate Michel Debacq who is now holding an office in the Court of Cassation of France and the anonymous accuser \u201cChristelle\u201d.<\/p>\n

Apparently this was to prepare to bring an action against Dr. Tariq Ramadan. This also is cause for serious doubts on the impartiality of relevant French authorities addressing the Ramadan Case.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, French justice became a complicit in this violation by the undue investigation process applied to Dr. Ramadan and by putting him under indefinite detention despite the goodwill and full cooperation shown by him during the investigation process.<\/p>\n

On top of all, we learn from the reports that Dr. Tariq Ramadan has been put into an isolation cell in the high-security wing of Paris\u2019 Fleury-M\u00e9rogis prison, without any understandable legal motive.<\/p>\n

Now, the Tariq Ramadan affair awaits for its own Emile Zolas, who shall come out from the non-Muslim French intelligentsia and whose historic duty would be to call out this blatant injustice currently taking place in France.<\/p>\n

Lessons taught by the history shows us that this conspiracy plotted against Dr. Tariq Ramadan with explicit anti-Muslim motives, does not target only the personality of a single Muslim man, but the whole Muslim community of France and Europe.<\/p>\n

And those who chose not to speak up against the obvious injustice committed against Dr. Tariq Ramadan will be judged by history as accomplices of a much bigger crime committed against a whole European Muslim community.<\/p>\n
