{"id":3702,"date":"2018-05-14T18:49:26","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T17:49:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bruxelles-pantheres.be\/?p=3702"},"modified":"2018-05-24T22:20:10","modified_gmt":"2018-05-24T21:20:10","slug":"coordination-semira-adamu-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bruxelles-pantheres.be\/?p=3702","title":{"rendered":"Coordination Semira Adamu 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le 22 septembre 1998, lors d\u2019une sixi\u00e8me tentative d\u2019expulsion, Semira Adamu a \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9e, \u00e9touff\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un coussin par des gendarmes qui agissaient conform\u00e9ment aux techniques d\u2019expulsion d\u00e9finies par l\u2019\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n<p>Demandeuse d\u2019asile d\u00e9bout\u00e9e, Semira avait vingt ans. Depuis le centre 127 bis o\u00f9 elle \u00e9tait enferm\u00e9e, Semira jouait le r\u00f4le de lanceuse d\u2019alerte pour le Collectif contre les expulsions\u00a0: elle t\u00e9moignait du fonctionnement de ces prisons et informait des dates d\u2019expulsions de ses cod\u00e9tenu.e.s.<\/p>\n<p>Semira incarnait, \u00e0 sa mani\u00e8re, la lutte des femmes pour leur dignit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9sistance aux politiques d\u2019asile et de migration inhumaines. L\u2019\u00c9tat s\u2019est appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la faire taire.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Pour celles et ceux qui s\u2019en souviennent, l\u2019indignation \u00e9tait g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. \u00ab\u00a0Plus jamais \u00e7a\u00a0\u00bb, nous \u00e9tions-nous toutes et tous promis.<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, vingt ans apr\u00e8s, la Belgique persiste et s\u2019emp\u00eatre dans une politique cynique et mortif\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des personnes en migration. Elle expulse vers des pays en guerre et collabore avec des \u00e9tats dictatoriaux. Elle pr\u00e9carise et inqui\u00e8te les personnes sans papiers qu\u2019elle arr\u00eate jusque dans des associations qui les soutiennent. La construction de trois nouveaux centres ferm\u00e9s est pr\u00e9vue et l\u2019aile pour les \u00ab\u00a0familles\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du 127bis sera inaugur\u00e9e d\u2019ici l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0 La politique d\u2019asile, elle, ne tient toujours pas compte de la situation sp\u00e9cifique des femmes migrantes. La politique migratoire europ\u00e9enne sous-traite le contr\u00f4le de ses fronti\u00e8res ext\u00e9rieures \u00e0 des pays limitrophes qui rendent encore plus al\u00e9atoire l\u2019acc\u00e8s au territoire et \u00e0 la protection pour ceux et celles qui en ont besoin.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, la contestation de ces politiques inhumaines ne faiblit pas. Les premiers concern\u00e9s, bien s\u00fbr, les collectifs de sans-papiers les refusent et luttent pour leur r\u00e9gularisation. Des milliers de personnes s\u2019y opposent aussi\u00a0en manifestant, en soutenant les occupations, en h\u00e9bergeant des migrant.e.s, en d\u00e9fendant des personnes menac\u00e9es d\u2019expulsion dans leur entourage proche ou lointain, en revendiquant tout simplement le droit \u00e0 la solidarit\u00e9\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Nous aussi. Nous nous r\u00e9unissons au sein de la <b>Coordination Semira Adamu 2018, <\/b>\u00e0 la fois pour rendre hommage \u00e0 Semira Adamu et \u00e0 son combat, rappeler le \u00ab\u00a0plus jamais \u00e7a \u00bb de 1998 et d\u00e9noncer l\u2019alignement de la Belgique sur une politique migratoire europ\u00e9enne qui a fait, en vingt ans, des dizaines de milliers de victimes \u00e0 ses portes et sur son territoire.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, d\u00e9sireux de prendre le contre-pied de ces politiques odieuses, nous inscrivons nos actions dans les revendications suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>r\u00e9gularisation de toutes les personnes sans-papiers en attendant une effective libert\u00e9 de circulation dans l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 de droits pour toutes et tous\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>arr\u00eat des expulsions et suppression des centres ferm\u00e9s\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>condamnations syst\u00e9matiques des violences racistes, patriarcales, polici\u00e8res et d\u2019\u00c9tat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019actions durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e, la coordination propose pour les <b>21, 22 et 23 septembre 2018<\/b> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>un temps de r\u00e9flexion autour des questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la migration et au racisme structurel, les politiques migratoires et les alternatives\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>des rassemblements populaires, culturels, festifs et engag\u00e9s\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>des actions sur des lieux embl\u00e9matiques de la politique d\u2019expulsion, ainsi que des interventions artistiques et activistes dans l\u2019espace public\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>la\u00a0transmission de l\u2019histoire de Semira Adamu \u00e9dit\u00e9e sous diff\u00e9rents formats et la revendication d\u2019une rue d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 sa m\u00e9moire et \u00e0 celles des migrant.e.s disparu.e.s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Toute personne, collectif, association, r\u00e9seau, institution, lieu culturel, etc. de Bruxelles, de Flandre et de Wallonie qui s\u2019inscrit dans ces revendications et souhaite soutenir activement cette comm\u00e9moration est la bienvenue au sein de la Coordination Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Nous encourageons chacune et chacun \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper sa propre communication \u00e0 propos des diff\u00e9rentes dimensions du combat de Semira et \u00e0 prendre des initiatives militantes selon le consensus d\u2019action assum\u00e9 par la coordination Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s septembre 2018, nous esp\u00e9rons que nos liens persisteront pour s\u2019assurer des droits de toutes les personnes en migration. Zij werd met en kussentje verstikt door rijkswachters die de uitwijzingstechnieken van de Staat toepasten.<\/p>\n<p>Semira was twintig jaar oud en was een afgewezen asielzoekster. Ze werd opgesloten in gesloten centrum 127bis en fungeerde er als klokkenluidster voor het Collectief tegen de uitwijzingen. Zij vertelde hoe deze gevangenisen werken en wanneer medegevangenen zouden worden uitgewezen.<\/p>\n<p>Op haar manier stond Semira voor de strijd van vrouwen voor hun waardigheid en voor het verzet tegen het asiel- en migratiebeleid. De Staat heeft haar het zwijgen opgelegd.<\/p>\n<p>De verontwaardiging was groot. Sommigen zullen het zich nog herinneren. We namen ons voor dat dit nooit nog mocht gebeuren.<\/p>\n<p>Toch bijt Belgi\u00eb zich twintig jaar later nog steeds vast in een cynisch en moorddadig beleid tegen migranten. Het wijst mensen uit naar landen in oorlog en werkt samen met dictatoriale regimes. Het valt mensen zonder papieren lastig, dwingt hen in kwetsbare situaties en arresteert hen zelfs bij de verenigingen die hen steun bieden. Er worden nieuwe gesloten centra ingericht en vanaf de zomer 2018 wil de regering er opnieuw gezinnen in onder brengen. Het asielbeleid houdt nog steeds geen rekening met de specifieke situatie van migrantenvrouwen. Het Europese migratiebeleid heeft de controle over de buitengrenzen geprivatiseerd of uitbesteed aan buurlanden zodat de toegang tot het grondgebied en de bescherming van kwetsbare mensen nog moeilijker wordt.<\/p>\n<p>Toch is er nog steeds evenveel verzet tegen dit inhumane beleid. Zij die er direct bij betrokken zijn, de mensen zonder papieren zelf, vechten collectief voor hun regularisering. Duizenden mensen verzetten zich en geven steun aan de mensen zonder papieren en aan de krakersbewegingen. Ze bieden migranten onderdak en verdedigen diegenen die met uitwijzing bedreigd worden. Zij eisen, net als wij, een recht op solidariteit.<\/p>\n<p>De Coordinatie Semira Adamu 2018 wil hulde brengen aan Semira Adamu en haar strijd. Wij willen het \u2018Dit nooit meer\u2019 van 1998 in herinnering brengen. Wij klagen aan dat Belgi\u00eb het Europese migratiebeleid volgt omdat dit, op twintig jaar tijd, tienduizenden slachtoffers heeft gemaakt, aan de grenzen en op haar grondgebied.<\/p>\n<p>Wij willen dit hatelijke beleid tegen gaan, en eisen daarom<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De regularisering van alle mensen zonder papieren, in afwachting van een echt vrij verkeer met gelijke rechten voor iedereen<\/li>\n<li>Stopzetting van de uitwijzingen en sluiting van de gesloten centra<\/li>\n<li>Een systematische veroordeling van het racistisch, patriarchaal en politiegeweld van de Staat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Na de acties die we het hele jaar door voeren, stelt de co\u00f6rdinatie voor om op <strong>21, 22 en 23 september 2018:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tijd te nemen om goed na te denken over migratie en structureel racisme, het migratiebeleid en de alternatieven<\/li>\n<li>Culturele en feestelijke bijeenkomsten te houden met ge\u00ebngageerde mensen<\/li>\n<li>Acties op te zetten op de symbolische plekken van het uitwijzingsbeleid, naast artistieke interventies in de openbare ruimte<\/li>\n<li>Bekendmaking van de geschiedenis van Semira Adamu, in verschillende vormen, en eis om een straat naar haar te noemen, ter herinnering aan de vele verdwenen migranten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Iedereen, individuen, collectieven, verenigingen, netwerken, instellingen of culturele instanties in Brussel, Vlaanderen en Walloni\u00eb die het eens zijn met deze eisen en actief willen meewerken aan deze herinnering is welkom bij de <strong>Coordinatie Semira Adamu<\/strong> 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Wij willen iedereen vragen om zelf voor verdere communicatie te zorgen rond de verschillende punten van de strijd van Semira en initiatieven te nemen in het kader van de consensus van de Co\u00f6rdinatie Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>De Co\u00f6rdinatie hoopt dat de banden die in september 2018 worden gelegd, zullen blijven voortleven om ervoor te zorgen dat de rechten van alle migrerende personen gegarandeerd zijn.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.semiraadamu2018.be\/signature-en-ligne-page-cachee\/\"><strong>Ik onderteken !<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>They killed a woman, not her fight<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On September 22, 1998, during a sixth attempt to eviction, Semira Adamu was killed, suffocated with a cushion by gendarmes who acted in accordance with state-imposed expulsion techniques.<\/p>\n<p>A rejected asylum seeker, Semira was twenty years old. From the 127bis detention centre where she was imprisoned, she played a role of whistle-blower in connection with the Collectif contre les expulsions\u00a0: she testified about the functioning of these prisons and informed of deportations scheduled for her fellow detainees.<br \/>\nIn her own way, Semira embodied women\u2019s struggle for dignity and resistance against inhuman asylum and migration policies. State authorities were anxious to silence her.<\/p>\n<p>Some will still remember how indignation was general. Every one of us swore \u201cNever again\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, twenty years later, Belgium persists and remains entangled in a cynical and deadly policy towards migrating people. She expels to countries at war and collaborates with dictatorial regimes. She makes life ever more precarious for undocumented persons and even arrests them within the premises of supporting organizations. New detention centres are being created, the government plans to incarcerate families again as from summer 2018. The asylum policy still takes no heed of the specific situation of migrant women. European migration policy privatises or subcontracts the control of Europe\u2019s external borders to neighbouring countries, which makes access to the territory of Europe and protection for those who need it ever more problematic.<\/p>\n<p>However, opposition to these inhuman policies does not falter. First concerned are of course the undocumented people who reject them and fight collectively for their regularization. Moreover, thousands of people oppose them through demonstrations, helping undocumented persons and their occupation movements, sheltering migrants, defending those in their immediate or more distant surrounding who are threatened with deportation, or simply claiming their right to showing solidarity. We also claim that right.<\/p>\n<p>United within the <strong>Coordination Semira Adamu 2018<\/strong>, we want both to pay tribute to Semira Adamu and her fight and recall the \u201cNever again\u201d of 1998, and to expose the alignment of Belgium on a European migration policy that has resulted in tens of thousands of victims at its doors and on its territory within the last twenty years.<\/p>\n<p>In order to counter those unbearable policies, we want to fit our actions within the following claims :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>regularization for all undocumented people, whilst awaiting an effective freedom of movement with equal rights for all<\/li>\n<li>stopping of deportations and suppression of detention centres<\/li>\n<li>systematic condemnation of violence, whether racist, patriarchal, police or State exercised.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Besides actions all along the year, the Coordination plans for <strong>September 21, 22 and 23, 2018<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a time for reflection on issues related to migration and structural racism, migration policies and their alternatives<br \/>\npopular, cultural, festive and committed events<br \/>\nactions on sites emblematic of the deportation policy, as well as public artistic and activist contributions<br \/>\ntransmission of the history of Semira Adamu in various forms, and demand that a street be dedicated to her memory and to that of all those lost in migration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any person, collective, organization, network, institution, cultural centre\u2026 in Brussels, Flanders or Wallonia that shares these concerns and wishes to actively support this commemoration, is welcome to join the Coordination Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage each and everyone to develop their own communication about the different aspects of Semira\u2019s fight and to initiate militant actions in the line of the consensus adopted by the Coordination Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Coordination hopes that links established in view of September 2018 may later persist in order to ensure the rights of all migrating people.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.semiraadamu2018.be\/signature-en-ligne-page-cachee\/\"><strong>Sign \u00a0!<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"titre\"><strong>Mataron una mujer, no su lucha<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El 22 de septiembre de 1998, durante el sexto intento de deportaci\u00f3n, Semira Adamu fue asesinada, asfixiada con un coj\u00edn por polic\u00edas que actuaban conforme a las t\u00e9cnicas de expulsi\u00f3n definidas por el Estado.<\/p>\n<p>Semira ten\u00eda 20 a\u00f1os y una petici\u00f3n de asilo desestimada. Desde el centro 127 donde estaba encerrada, Semira lanz\u00f3 la llamada de alerta del Colectivo contra las expulsiones: testificaba del funcionamiento de esas prisiones e informaba sobre las fechas de expulsi\u00f3n de sus compa\u00f1eras y compa\u00f1eros detenidos.<\/p>\n<p>Semira encarnaba, a su manera, la lucha de las mujeres por la dignidad y la resistencia contra las inhumanas pol\u00edticas de asilo y de migraci\u00f3n. El Estado se empe\u00f1\u00f3 en hacerla callar.<\/p>\n<p>Os acord\u00e1is, la indignaci\u00f3n fue general. \u201cNunca m\u00e1s\u201d nos hab\u00edamos prometido unos a otros.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, veinte a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, B\u00e9lgica persiste y se encierra en una pol\u00edtica c\u00ednica y mort\u00edfera respecto a las personas migrantes. Expulsa hacia pa\u00edses en guerra y colabora con Estados dictatoriales. Precariza e importuna a las personas sin papeles que detiene y a las asociaciones que las apoyan. Nuevos centros cerrados se est\u00e1n preparando para su uso, el gobierno ha previsto reencarcelar a familias a partir de verano de 2018. La pol\u00edtica de asilo no tiene en cuenta la situaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica de las mujeres migrantes. La pol\u00edtica migratoria europea privatiza o subcontrata el control de las fronteras exteriores a pa\u00edses lim\u00edtrofes en los cuales el acceso al territorio y la protecci\u00f3n de aquellos y aquellas que lo necesitan se hace de forma a\u00fan m\u00e1s aleatoria.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de todo esto, la protesta contra estas pol\u00edticas inhumanas no se debilita. Las primeras afectadas son las personas sin papeles, las rechazan y luchan en colectivos para su regularizaci\u00f3n. Miles de personas tambi\u00e9n se oponen manifest\u00e1ndose, apoyando a los sin papeles y a los movimientos de ocupaci\u00f3n, alojando migrantes, defendiendo a las personas amenazadas de expulsi\u00f3n en su entorno cercano o lejano, revindicando simplemente el derecho a la solidaridad\u2026 Nosotros y nosotras tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reunidos en la Coordinadora Semira Adamu 2018 queremos, tambi\u00e9n como homenaje a Semira Adamu y a su lucha, recordar el \u201cNunca m\u00e1s-Plus jamais \u00e7a\u201d de 1998 y denunciar el alineamiento de B\u00e9lgica con una pol\u00edtica migratoria europea que ha provocado en veinte a\u00f1os decenas de miles de v\u00edctimas en sus puertas y en su territorio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De esta forma, con el deseo de denunciar estas odiosas pol\u00edticas, situamos nuestras acciones en las siguientes reivindicaciones: <br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Regularizaci\u00f3n de todas las personas sin papeles esperando una libertad de circulaci\u00f3n efectiva en igualdad de derechos. <br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Interrupci\u00f3n de expulsiones y supresi\u00f3n de los centros cerrados. <br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Condena sistem\u00e1tica de violencias racistas, patriarcales, policiales y del Estado.<\/p>\n<p>Con acciones durante todo el a\u00f1o, <strong>la coordinaci\u00f3n propone para los d\u00edas 21, 22 y 23 de septiembre 2018: <\/strong> <br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Un tiempo de reflexi\u00f3n sobre las cuestiones relacionadas a la migraci\u00f3n y al racismo estructural, las pol\u00edticas migratorias y las alternativas.<br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Encuentros populares, culturales, festivos y comprometidos.<br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Acciones en lugares emblem\u00e1ticos de la pol\u00edtica de expulsi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como intervenciones art\u00edsticas y activistas en el espacio p\u00fablico.<br class=\"autobr\" \/>\u2022 Transmisi\u00f3n de la historia de Semira Adamu en diferentes formatos y reivindicaci\u00f3n de una calle dedicada a su memoria y a la de los y las migrantes desaparecidos.<\/p>\n<p>Damos la bienvenida a cualquier persona, colectivo, asociaci\u00f3n, red, instituci\u00f3n, centro cultural, etc de Bruselas, de Flandes y de Valonia que se inscriba en estas reivindicaciones y desee apoyar activamente esta conmemoraci\u00f3n, o a la Coordinadora Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Animamos a que cada colectivo o persona elabore su propia comunicaci\u00f3n sobre las diferentes dimensiones del combate de Semira y tome las iniciativas militantes seg\u00fan el consenso de <span class=\"gl_mot\">acci\u00f3n<\/span> asumido por la Coordinadora Semira Adamu 2018.<\/p>\n<p><br class=\"autobr\" \/>La Coordinadora espera que, despu\u00e9s de septiembre 2018, las relaciones establecidas continuar\u00e1n para asegurar los derechos de todas las personas en migraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"spip\"><a
